The SANS InfoSec Reading Room has a series of interviews that try to answer the question: Does Certification Really Matter? The series of articles are focused on answering this question in relation to becoming certified in information security. The answers to this question can be applied to almost any viable certification that is out there. The interview series spans from Jan 2002 to the present.
